Here’s a couple new album joints from an artist we recently smoked with, Slim Thugga.
The first one is an untagged version of the candy-painted salutation to his hometown, “Welcome To Houston.” The cut features every rapper from H-Town known to man spitting over a rotten synth bassline, which together cook up a track so southern I’m left craving boiled peanuts after every listen.
The second is a new version of a track we heard awhile ago, called “I’m Back,” featuring Devin The Dude. The original featured Dr.Dre on the beat, while this one’s produced by Mr. Lee. It’s got a little more swang to it, and probably fits the album structure more appropriately. Either way, both bang, so everyone goes to the whip happy.
Boss Of All Bosses drops next Tuesday. Buy it or The Boss will will fire you.
